How Owens & Minor Defines Diversity and Inclusion

External Views Help Broaden our Perspectives:

Diversity & Inclusion extends beyond our office, manufacturing and distribution center walls. While we view attracting and retaining diverse talents as a key to our overall success, we also know that those talents need to view O&M as a place they can develop and grow their careers. That is why we seek additional viewpoints, thought leadership and experiences through partnerships in our communities.

HBCU Partnerships:

We actively partner with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our connection with the HBCU career centers and student bodies through networking events, career development workshops, alumni networking, and internship and career fairs helps ensure opportunities with O&M are visible to students and alumni. 

My HBCU education gave me exposure to diversity of perspective early on. Having that experience has been extremely valuable while helping teammates with a range of backgrounds come on board in our Distribution Center. It's a fun and rewarding environment, and I love getting to experience different Human Resources functions as a part of my role.

Military Support:
